Tamilnadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha has objected the plan of conducting Centralized entrance exams for Medical admissions, Colleges and medical experts in the state of Tamilnadu feels that she has more confidence that the state government is capable to carry out the entry of students into Medical colleges.


Few have given opinion about the entrance exam at the state level which is organized is good. Presently the Tamilnadu Government gives seats to the candidates based on their higher secondary board examinations. The CM has requested Prime Minister opposing the plan of conducting National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET)  will affect the minds and the interest of the rural area students.


She also added that the plan affects the state’s right to allot the admission policies to the medical educational institutions in Tamilnadu. Several medical colleges have opposed the idea of conducting centralized entrance test and few have said it is a friendly step for the students to persuade in their career.


The Vice President of MCI has said even parents have to move to many places for seeking admission. Some medical experts have said the idea of two window entrance exam system should be made available at the state and central levels. Dr. G.R. Ravindranath has said the two window plan would help the students have a second try with relate to admissions.
