YSRCP President YS Jagan has confident to win in all 9 Assembly Segments except in Kamalapuram in Kadapa district. YSRCP announced Ravindranath Reddy (Jagan’s uncle) as its candidate in Kamalapuram. Ravindranath Reddy has life time ambition to become MLA. YSR failed to give Assembly Ticket to his brother-in-law in 2009. Ravindranath Reddy is willing to contest from Kadapa Assembly but Jagan denied his request. Unwillingly, Ravindranath Reddy moved to Kamalapuram.
Jagan gave MLA ticket to Ravindranath Reddy only based on recommendations of YS Vijaya Lakshmi. Vijayamma demand Kamalapuram Assembly Ticket to her brother. Putta Narasimha Reddy is the candidate for TDP in Kamalapuram Segment. He is local candidate and has strong followers in this Segment. Since last one year, Putta is working in the segment for the elections. Jagan is believed that facing Putta is not possible to Ravindranath Reddy. In latest development, Congress Senior Leader Veera Siva Reddy also joined in TDP. VeeraSiva is an arch rival for YSR family.
Veerasiva openly said that he joined in TDP only to obstruct YSR family in politics. Reportedly, CBN asked Veera Siva to work for the victory of Putta in the elections and assured on MLC ticket in future days. Veera Siva Reddy also has his followers in some mandals. His entry into TDP will create tension in YSRCP camp. Jagan feels duo turned to become great force in Kamalapuram. As per latest buzz, Jagan wants to change Ravindranath Reddy in Kamalapuram. Jagan wants to field Vijayamma from Kamalapuram.
