Haryana home minister Anil Vij criticised former kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir President chief mehbooba mufti on sunday for her remarks requesting the restoration of J&K's special status, which was lost in 2019.

During a press conference, the haryana home minister slammed the PDP president, saying that if she loves pakistan so much, she should go there. "You don't even know, mehbooba mufti, that America was sitting in another country, Afghanistan, while we were sitting in our own country, and no one can even consider removing us from here. If you love pakistan so much, then go there; the happiness you have here is far away there," Vij wrote in a message.

"As a superpower, America had no choice but to pack their belongings and go." The Centre still has the chance to start a dialogue process in J-K, as former prime minister Vajpayee did. The Centre can correct its mistake of taking the J-& K's identity illegally and unconstitutionally and fracturing J-K, she had stated, referring to the august 5 judgments.

The bjp reacted angrily to Mehbooba's words, accusing her of engaging in "hate politics" after losing footing in the Union Territory and threatening to destroy anyone who conspires against India.

Mufti had earlier lashed out at the central government on Wednesday, comparing the Centre to the Talibanis over the Enforcement Directorate's repeated summons to her mother in a money laundering case.

In New India, getting summoned by agencies, such as the NIA and the ED, has become a rite of passage for those who opposes the government's divisive agenda and policies. In my mother's instance, the timeline is crystal obvious. When the PDP boycotted the Delimitation Commission, my mother received a summons the last time. She said, "I was summoned again when I conducted a peaceful protest on august 5th, criticising the illegal abrogation of Article 370."
