CM has called a special session!!!

The aam aadmi party (AAP) has accused the bharatiya janata party (BJP) of trying to topple the bhagwant mann government of Punjab. In response to the BJP's strategy, chief minister bhagwant mann has called a special session of the state assembly on 22 september to get the trust vote.

The AAP government had recently claimed that the bjp approached 10 of its MLAs and offered them Rs 25 crore each. There is a thumping majority government of 'AAP' in Punjab. AAP alleges that bjp is constantly trying to topple the bhagwant mann government.

What is the position of AAP in the assembly?

In the 117-member state assembly, the aam aadmi party has 92 MLAs, while the congress has 18 members, the Shiromani Akali Dal three, the bjp two and the Bahujan Samaj party (BSP) one. There is also an independent MLA.

'BJP is trying to break MLAs'

Bhagwant Mann said in a video message on Monday, 'You must have heard how they tried to contact our MLAs and offer them money and other inducements in an attempt to throw out the government elected with a huge mandate.'

'Operation lotus failed in Punjab'

Bhagwant Mann said that people expressed confidence in the AAP by rejecting the opposition parties during the 2022 assembly elections, while the opposition had huge money to influence the people. He said that the trust of love is priceless.

Bhagwant Mann government will get the trust vote

Chief minister bhagwant mann said, 'We will maintain that belief. The MLAs are standing like a rock with the state and the Punjabis. To show this belief legally, we are convening a special session of the Vidhan Sabha on 22nd September. During the session, we will show how committed the elected MLAs are to fulfill the dream of making punjab a vibrant state.

The ruling AAP had submitted a complaint to the state's director General of police (DGP) alleging that the bjp tried to break up its MLAs. After this, a case was registered by the punjab police on 14 September.
