In a recent incident, the andhra pradesh government purchased 19 brand-new toyota Fortuner vehicles for an astounding sum of almost Rs 16 crores. Today, 19 automobiles were delivered to the andhra pradesh police. The fleet comprises of two white Fortuner vehicles and 17 black Fortuner vehicles. The cars have been taken over by the andhra pradesh Intelligence Security Wing and are currently being armoured against bullets.

The top-tier Fortuner is priced at about Rs 63 lakh. The price for 19 of these is Rs. 11.97 crore. An additional Rs 20 lakh each vehicle will be needed for bulletproofing, bringing the total to Rs 15.77 crore. It should be recalled that the jagan administration already owned 6 new Fortuners when he was elected in 2019. These cars cost Rs. 5 crore and have covered a relatively short distance.

The jagan administration has since purchased 19 new cars without giving a rationale. Internet users are complaining that the ycp government is spending taxpayer money on these expensive cars at a time when the state's finances are already at an all-time low and the situation is also not looking good for the common people who are making a living in the state.
