Amritpal Singh held a meeting with the police officers after creating ruckus at Ajnala police station in Amritsar. After this meeting, he issued a video statement. Amritpal Singh reportedly called this uproar a show of force and claimed that a FIR had only been filed against his followers for political reasons.
The administration will be in charge of what occurs after if this case is not dismissed in an hour. Amritpal continued by saying that they believe we are powerless, so the disturbance inside the police station was required as a display of force.
During this, he also denied the allegation of policemen being injured by his supporters inside the police station. Amritpal said, some policemen were injured due to falling down. Along with this, Amritpal also said that the matter of threatening amit shah was wrong. Supporters entered the police station with bare swords
On Thursday, thousands of Amritpal Singh fans arrived outside the Ajnala police station in amritsar brandishing bare swords. They were all opposed to Lovepreet alias Toofan Singh's arrest, who is a close associate of Amritpal. These individuals had been yelling anti-government slogans until late in the afternoon when they abruptly burst inside the police station, beating the officers before taking control of it. Many police officers were hurt during this when they were assaulted with swords and sticks.
