Advocate Joheb Hussain, appearing for ED, has demanded a 10-day remand for manish Sisodia stating the need for interrogation. He has asked to confront Sisodia with 7 other people, to whom notices have been sent in this matter, to verify the facts related to the liquor scam. However, Manish's lawyer Daya Krishnan has opposed being handed over on remand.

2. ED's claim - by changing the rules, benefits given to special people

The ED has claimed during the hearing that the work of making a new excise policy was done under a conspiracy. The work of increasing the profit margin of liquor sales from 6% to 12% was to benefit certain people. ED's lawyer Zoheb Hussain said Sisodia's assistant Vijay Nair was acting as a representative on his behalf. In this conspiracy, telangana chief minister Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter K. Kavita was also involved and was in direct contact with Sisodia. Along with this, many other middlemen and government officials are also involved in this.
