According to tdp general secretary nara lokesh on Friday, if chief minister Jagan mohan reddy announces a scheme, there is a scam behind it. According to lokesh, the mobile Dispensing Unit (MDU) vans that deliver food at doorsteps were acquired with Rs 536 cr just for commissions. He further noted that Rs 250 cr is paid annually as wages to the operators of the cars, which is a clear waste of public funds.

Prior to the implementation of the MDUs, cardholders could travel to the stores whenever they had time, but now that they are in use, they must wait until the ration arrives at their door, as highlighted by Lokesh. During Lokesh's yuva Galam pada yatra on Friday, representatives of the State Ration Dealers Association met him at Pedapadu in the Panyam assembly segment and delivered a memo in which they claimed that over 29,500 ration dealers throughout the State have been totally dependent on the public distribution system for years.

These merchants complained in the memorandum that they were losing their livelihoods due to the current MDU system's introduction, which is in violation of the Food Security Act's stipulations and is being implemented concurrently. They urged that the system be removed as soon as the tdp resumes power.

In agreement with the ration dealers, lokesh claimed that the adoption of this system has harmed cardholders, ration dealers, and MDU operators alike. After the tdp establishes government once more, the tdp national leader vowed to evaluate the MDU system and make a decision that would benefit both cardholders and dealers. The notion of converting the ration shops into multi-service centre would undoubtedly be looked into, said Lokesh.

Following the merger of their village with the neighbourhood corporation, the youth of Pedapadu village wrote lokesh a message complaining that they were no longer receiving enough water. In response, lokesh thought that when a village is combined into a corporation, the facilities should be improved and that whenever the tdp is back in power, steps will be taken to supply them with Tungabhadra water.
