Numerous telangana universities are looking at possible collaborations in academia and research with Nanyang Technological university (NTU), Singapore. In support of these initiatives, Prof. BVR Chowdari, senior executive director and president emeritus of the Materials Research Society of singapore (MRS-S), met with State education minister P. Sabitha indra Reddy and other top officials from the education Department on Monday. 
He briefed them on the various developments at NTU as well as the tremendous opportunities with indian universities in general and telangana Universities in particular. During their upcoming delegation visit to Nanyang university in July with their top leadership, the minister further stressed the need of telangana institutions to establish academic partnerships with that institution. At the time, Prof. BVR Chowdari underlined the importance of enhancing the research culture inside Telangana's universities.

Additionally, he pledged NTU's cooperation in extending the essential partnership for telangana university cooperative research projects and capacity building. Senior representatives from the education Department were present, including Prof. D Ravinder, Vice-Chancellor of Osmania university, Prof. R. Limbadri, Chairman of the TSCHE, Prof. V. Venkata Ramana, Vice-Chairman of the TSCHE and Vice-Chancellor of RGUKT, Basar. Stay tuned with us for more updates.
