According to a news statement, Mariyamma alias Leelamma Joseph was detained by police on monday in Kerala's pathanamthitta district. On the basis of a tip, a Hyderabadi police team went to pathanamthitta and detained her. Anjani Kumar, the director general of police, praised the group's efforts.

A woman from kerala who had been missing for 36 years was apprehended on monday by the Crime Investigation Department (CID). She was wanted in connection with a cheating case.
