As part of the ongoing decade celebrations, Municipal Administration and IT minister KT Rama Rao travelled here on wednesday and lay the cornerstones for a number of development projects totaling Rs 150 crore. Ministers errabelli dayakar rao and Satyavati Rathod were with him.

Rao and home minister Mohd Mahmood ali arrived in a helicopter to government degree College, where they were welcomed with open arms. Later, he lay the cornerstone for the district police office building and the Integrated district Offices Complex (IDOC), which is close to the degree college. Additionally, the Sant Sevalal building, a network of model bus stops and government office buildings also received foundation stones. After these rituals, Rama Rao travelled to the nearby village of Palampet, which is home to the Ramappa temple, a UNESCO World heritage Site.

The telangana administration is dedicated to expanding IT operations to tier-II cities, according to IT minister KT Rama Rao. As part of this, the IT Tower in siddipet will be officially opened on june 15; this will be followed by the openings of the towers in nizamabad and nalgonda in the following months.

On May 6, a new IT tower was opened in Mahabubnagar. New businesses have established offices in the existing towers, creating jobs and greater possibilities for residents of these cities. warangal is taking shape as a different IT hub.
