Andhra pradesh goverbnment has also approved permissions for opening up dance bars in Hyderabad,Vijayawada and Visakhanatpam in an effort to boost its tourist revenue and also attract investors into construction industry .
Sources in Secretarait said the Home minsiter proposal for permitting 200 such dance bars presently and to p[ermit in all 500 bars cum dancing clubs across the state have received stamp of approval of the Chief Misiters office . CM has accorded permission to the file moved by the Tourism and Hme department collectivelty witha ssurance that necessary [precautions would be taken to ensure that there were no human traffic and abuse of teenage firls into dancing bars .
Ever since Supreme court permitted opening uip dancing bars , the Maharashtra , Goa, Tamil Badu,Kerala and Karnataka besides West Bengal government had approved permissions for the dancing bars . In AP dancing girls are hired in villages and district tiowns of Telangana and coastal andrha during the Sankranti and deevali festivals for mass enterainment v in the name of 'record dancing'�� . 'We have about unlisted 50,000 listed dancing girls operating in the state ' said a police official who earn about Rs.5000 to Rs.7500 per month from dancing activity'.
