The Delhi-Gurugram border experienced a major 1.5 kilometre traffic congestion in the morning due to the Bharat Bandh organised by farmer organisations to mark one year after the passing of the Centre's three agricultural legislation. From Gurugram, a swarm of cars was visible attempting to reach Delhi. The route from delhi towards Gurugram, on the other hand, was pretty clean. On Monday, the SKM, an umbrella organisation of around 40 farmer groups, planned for a 'Bharat Bandh' to commemorate one year after the central government approved the controversial agricultural legislation. "A complete Bharat Bandh would be held across the nation between 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.," the SKM stated in a release.

The prominent Opposition party, such as the Congress, TDP, as well as Left parties, have backed the demand for a bandh. The SKM called for perfect peace throughout the Bandh this Sunday, and asked all indians to participate. Except for essential operations on Monday, farmer groups and their allies, especially trade unions, have devised elaborate preparations to guarantee that life stays halted across the nation. The delhi Traffic police claimed that traffic flow from UP to Ghazipur has now been halted as a consequence of the bandh.
