Bridges are built to alleviate traffic congestion across tamil Nadu should be immediately accessible to the public. Edappadi Palanisamy has requested that the coimbatore flyover, which was erected to alleviate traffic congestion, be made public as soon as possible.

Leader of the Opposition Edappadi Palanisamy released a statement claiming that the AIADMK government has given special attention to public transportation in tamil Nadu, including towns such as chennai, Madurai, coimbatore, and Trichy. Large road flyovers, railway bridges, and river bridges were constructed and made available to the public.

As a result, free public transportation is now available throughout tamil Nadu.

The AIADMK administration approved the construction of a massive high-level bridge for Rs 100 crore to relieve traffic congestion at the coimbatore road junction in chennai, notably after 2017, with 95 per cent of the work finished by december 2020. Currently, 99.99 per cent of the bridgework has been done, but the bridge remains closed, causing daily traffic congestion. people from various districts working in chennai were reportedly besieged at the coimbatore bus terminal at the same time due to the continuous holiday ahead of the navratri festival, generating significant traffic congestion and inflicting great discomfort to the public.

Bridges are constructed to alleviate traffic congestion. As a result, I urge this government to speed up the building of bridges now under construction to decrease traffic congestion and to move quickly to open them to the public. Similarly, the completed section of the Velachery double-track bridge, which was started by the AIADMK government and is currently under construction near the Velachery bus stand for Rs. 110 crores; the Medavakkam flyover, which will cost Rs. 146 crores; and the Velachery-Tambaram bridge area should be made available to the public immediately.
