"Probably the only chief minister who did not greet was MK Stalin. My expectation is that this time the DMK will provide a regime that will comfort everyone."

Pointing out that DMK leader and cm MK stalin did not congratulate for diwali, the DMK mp said,

It is customary for the bjp and its pro-government movements to point out that the DMK leadership does not greet Christian and Islamic festivals and does not greet Hindu festivals. Although this has been going on for a long time, with the rise of social media, it has become routine for discussions to arise about it.

As Deepavali is being celebrated all over the country, DMK leader and cm M.K. Stalin's non-greeting sparked controversy on social media.

In the midst of the diwali festivities, many bjp members posted on social media criticizing the DMK and the Chief Minister.

Political commentator sumanth C. Raman also took to social media to point out that tamil Nadu chief minister MK stalin had not congratulated him on Diwali. “It is his choice to greet as a party leader. It is his duty to greet as the Chief Minister.

Probably the only chief minister who did not greet was MK Stalin. My expectation is that this time DMK will provide a regime that comforts everyone.", said Dharmapuri MP.

Senthilkumar responded via social media, he has said, "Biden said... Boris Johnson said... imran khan said... so what? chief minister did not say. Chief artist karunanidhi did not say. chief minister Muthuvel karunanidhi stalin would not say. DMK chiefs will not say. We are rationalists. What is your problem?"
