The leaders of the bharatiya janata party in andhra pradesh have been holding "Praja Poru" (people's battle) events in various regions of the state over the past several days, criticising the Y S jagan Mohan reddy administration. Because the bjp is not a significant force in the state and the attendance at their meetings is not very high, the ruling ysr congress party has not been taking the programme seriously either.

Furthermore, the YSRC leaders are not responding aggressively to the remarks of the state bjp leaders since they do not want to draw attention to their discourse and the chief minister is still in good standing with the Centre. But because some of these bjp leaders seem to be siding with the tdp in their views, the YSRC leadership is taking them seriously. Clearly, these bjp leaders are more concerned with restoring the tdp to power in the state than they are with growing their own party.

Even though they left the tdp three and a half years ago to join the bjp, some of them, like Y sujana Chowdary and C M Ramesh, still support it. Even the bjp leadership is aware that they are more inclined to support the tdp than the saffron party. Despite never having been a member of the tdp in the past, bjp national secretary Y satya Kumar has recently shown himself to be a tdp mole. He often comes off as being biassed towards the tdp because of his strong relationships with individuals like former vice president of india M venkaiah naidu and Andhra Jyothy MD Vemuri Radhakrishna.
