Delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal has commented on the Reserve Bank's announcement that Rs 2,000 notes will be withdrawn and said, 'This is why we are saying that the prime minister should be educated'.
Reserve bank of india has decided to remove Rs.2000 notes from circulation. Accordingly, arrangements have been made for people to exchange their Rs.2000 notes through banks from May 23. Time has been given for this till september 30. As the RBI has decided to remove all Rs.2000 notes from circulation, banks have also been advised not to distribute those notes to the public.

RBI's announcement has drawn both support and opposition across the country. arvind kejriwal, the chief minister of delhi and aam aadmi party coordinator commented on this and criticized that the prime minister should have studied for this.

He has posted about this on his twitter page, "They said that corruption will end if they bring Rs.2000 note first. Now, by banning the Rs 2000 note, they say corruption will be curbed. This is why we say the prime minister should be educated. Anyone can say anything to an uneducated Prime Minister. He doesn't understand anything. It is the public who should suffer," he said.

Earlier in March, delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal was fined Rs 25,000 for filing a case seeking Modi's education documents under the Right to Information Act. To which kejriwal said, "Doesn't this nation have the right to know how educated the prime minister is? Why so much reluctance to show degree certificates in court? Penalty for requesting documents? What's going on here? An uneducated or poorly educated prime minister is very dangerous for the country," he said.
