In order to fulfill its promise to Dr. Preethi's sister, a medical student at Kakatiya Medical college in warangal who purportedly committed suicide, the State government has hired her. She will work for the hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA). Preethi's sister, D Pooja, was hired as a Support Associate in the IT wing by the hmda after issuing the requisite instructions.

In February, Dr. D Preethi, a PG medical student from Kakatiya Medical college, passed away while receiving treatment for a purported suicide attempt. While panchayat raj Minister errabelli dayakar rao raised donations and gave Preethi's family Rs. 20 lakhs, the State government had promised Rs. 10 lakhs to her family.

Dayakar Rao brought the matter to the attention of MA&UD minister KT Rama Rao after they requested a job for one of the family members. Dayakar Rao issued a statement saying, "Responding positively, the MA&UD minister has assured a post for Dr. Preethi's sister, D Pooja, in HMDA. 


For those who don't know, Dr. MA Saif, a second-year MD student at Kakatiya Medical college in warangal district, was detained by the telangana Police in relation to the suicide attempt by Dr. Preethi, his junior in college. Preethi was found unconscious while on duty in the MGM Hospital staff room early on wednesday morning. Due to Dr. Saif, who is charged with pestering Preethi and pressuring her to try suicide, it is claimed that she tried suicide by injecting anaesthesia pills.
