When the Kaddam Narayana reddy project in the Kaddampeddur mandal hub was overcrowded, 7,000 residents of roughly 10 villages went through some anxious times. However, a group of 20 enthusiastic children received praise for playing a crucial part in lifting the gates after two gates unexpectedly broke down.
The project's gates 6 and 12 were lifted by the assistance of Mohammad Shoeb, Syed Mokheed, Mohad Shadab Hussain, Feroz Khan, Ameer Khan, Isha Khan, Pittala Arun from the Kaddampeddur mandal centre, naga from Gundugudem, and a few other young people from Pandapur, Ambaripet, and nearby villages.

"When we learned that the project was experiencing flash floods and that a breach was expected to occur at any time on Thursday, we hurried to the dam. Till nine o'clock at night, we assisted with gate raising. Our main goal was to open the gates and save the communities. If the dam were breached, the villages would be wiped away, Shoeb told "India Herald."

"On Thursday, the young people who were working in groups of four people each offered their assistance in raising the two gates. When necessary, they were instrumental in completing the operation, according to an Irrigation official who also noted that Gates 6 and 12 also experienced gearbox and electric motor issues.
