The madhya pradesh high court has given time till september 1 to the state government to reply on the NSA action against
the accused in the famous urination case of Sidhi. On august 16, a double bench of high court Chief Justice ravi Malimath
and Justice vishal mishra will hear the matter. The hearing took place before During this, it was argued on behalf of the
petitioner that the NSA's action has been taken arbitrarily on the orders of chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Whereas its
solid legal basis did not exist. Taking this argument on record, the high court has given time till september 1 to the state
government to submit its reply.
What does the petitioner have to say?
During the hearing of the case, advocate Anirudh Mishra appeared on behalf of the petitioner Kanchan Shukla, a direct
resident. He argued that the petitioner's husband Pravesh Shukla has been jailed under the NSA. Entry had no criminal
record. Therefore, the legality of the action of NSA is worthy of challenge. This action is also unfair because it is contrary to
Article-21 of the Constitution. It was argued on behalf of the petitioner that the NSA was imposed on the basis of the video
being viral, it is three years old. Due to the video of the year 2020, no situation of any kind of riot or dispute was created.
