On Monday, the telangana bjp said that it has begun to accept applications from candidates looking for party tickets to run in the 2018 assembly elections. G Premendar Reddy, general secretary of the telangana bjp, told the media that applications will be taken up till september 10 from 10 AM to 4 PM daily. He added that there has been a great deal of interest from candidates to run for office on the bjp ticket.

According to Reddy, the party has established a screening committee to examine the applications and provide recommendations to the national panel. Over 1,000 applications from potential candidates have already been submitted to the Congress, and a committee has begun to review them. Telangana's assembly elections are expected to take place by the end of the year.

On Monday, the bjp opened dedicated counters at its State headquarters and began taking applications from candidates seeking a ticket for the 2018 assembly elections. Aspiring candidates are not required to pay an application fee to the saffron party. A candidate may make bids to represent any number of seats, according to party sources. One ghmc corporator is known to have submitted four applications. G Premender Reddy, the general secretary of the bjp in the state, stated that the procedure will last till september 10. The applications will be received by former MLC Ranga Reddy.
