With the new cutting-edge Command Control Centre that the school Education Department will launch by the end of this month, all information pertaining to schools, including private ones, from enrollment to attendance to academic performance will be just a click away. The facility, known as "Vidya Samiksha Kendra," will be utilized to monitor student enrolment, learning levels, and accomplishment across the State, both for individual students and for whole schools.
The telangana State police Command Control facility and the health Department's Command Control Centre are models for the new facility, which is being built on the second floor of the Directorate of school Education at an estimated cost of Rs 5 crore. The facility will make information receiving and monitoring simple thanks to its high-end computer equipment and enormous 20-foot high screen.

For this, the facility is integrating a number of applications, such as kid information, learning results, and mid-day food consumption. The unified dashboard for monitoring the schools is being developed using artificial intelligence and machine learning technology. It would be useful for administrators to track and oversee programs like free lunches, textbooks, notebooks, and uniform distribution to pupils.

Officials now rely on the UDISE database, also known as the Unified district Information System for Education, for the data. Additionally, UDISE's information collection method is laborious and time-consuming. The center would assist administrators in making data-driven choices by making all information relevant to all schools instantly accessible. Additionally, the Kendra will be combined with the facial recognition attendance-based program that will be introduced this week for collecting school attendance, allowing the authorities to track individual attendance of both instructors and children in real-time.

This new facility will help authorities monitor teachers' attendance, performance, and any necessary training, if any, in addition to providing assistance to those working in government-run schools. With the center's integration of CCTV cameras, all government-run facilities, including residential schools, will be under video surveillance.
