This bill was passed in rajya sabha on 9th march 2010. But it was not taken up in Lok Sabha.

“Bills introduced / passed in the rajya sabha do not lapse. The Women's Reservation Bill is still pending. The congress Party has been demanding for the past 9 years that the Women's Reservation Bill, which has already been passed in the rajya sabha, should also be passed in the Lok Sabha." jairam ramesh also posted on his X page.
