Will karnataka have six Deputy Chief Ministers?


Congress mla Basavaraj Rayareddy made a big claim on saturday (September 23). Rayareddy said that we are discussing making five more Deputy Chief Ministers. Many leaders have supported this. Basavaraj Rayareddy said that the proposal to make five more deputy CMs in the Siddaramaiah government was approved by home minister G. Many leaders including Parameshwara and MB Patil have supported it. Talking to a news agency, he said, "Discussions are going on to appoint at least five more Deputy CMs." This decision can be taken keeping in mind the lok sabha elections to be held next year.

Basavaraj Rayareddy said that he supports KN Rajanna's statement of appointing more Deputy CMs to run a better administration. Now the decision has to be taken by chief minister Siddaramaiah and the high command. Actually, DK Shivakumar is the deputy cm in the karnataka Government. In such a situation, if five more Deputy Chief Ministers are made, the total will be six Deputy CMs.

Karnataka Cooperation minister KN Rajanna had also recently demanded the appointment of three more Deputy CMs. He said in Tumkur, karnataka, “Lok Sabha elections are near, we are watching and all the parties are preparing for the elections. Our wish is that one post of deputy chief minister should be given to a Scheduled Caste-Tribe, one post to a minority community and one post to a leader of the Veerashaiva community.
