The bharatiya janata party (BJP) in telangana has announced that on september 30th, prime minister Narendra Modi would speak at a public gathering in mahabubnagar, Telangana. In a press release on Saturday, october 1, state bjp general secretary G Premender reddy stated that the gathering will take place at 1 pm at the ITI Ground in Bhoothpur, Mahabubnagar. G Kishan reddy, a state-level bjp leader and union minister, as well as other party officials, will attend the gathering, he added. The public gathering will take place just before this year's state elections.

The telangana bjp has begun organising an event that will take place at mahabubnagar on september 30 and would feature a speech from prime minister Narendra Modi. A major public gathering is being planned, according to former mahbubnagar MP ap Jithender reddy, who urged attendees to turn out in large numbers.

Mahbubnagar was chosen for the public event where Modi will introduce the BJP's election campaign in telangana, and this choice was not made by accident. Only on june 16 did chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao officially inaugurate the palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme by turning on a pump at the project's Narlapur pump house. The bjp has stated that the ceremony was only a symbolic gesture because only one of the 31 pumps was activated as part of a wet run test, despite the state government's claims that the project was launched.
