Ruckus started in bihar over another order of the education Department. During durga puja, orders have been
issued for residential training of teachers of government schools, due to which the issue is heated. On one hand,
the teachers union has warned of agitation, while on the other hand, Union minister Giriraj Singh has accused
the bihar government of continuously harassing Hindus during their festivals. On friday (October 13), Giriraj
Singh wrote on social media platform Is continuously using torture with the people of Bihar. The people of Bihar
will give a full answer to this.
Teachers union expressed opposition to this order
The teachers union has opposed this decision of the bihar government, calling it a Tughlaqi decree. A warning
has been given of agitation if the decision is not withdrawn. TET Elementary teachers Association convenor
Raju Singh (teacher leader) said that durga puja holiday has already been declared in government schools.
During durga puja, teachers of Hindu religion worship Goddess Durga by fasting and eating fruits. Ordering
residential training during durga puja holiday is not appropriate at all.
Raju Singh said that teachers following Hindu religion are angry with this decision of the education Department.
This decision of bihar government has hurt the sentiments of teachers who follow Hindu religion. If the decision
is not withdrawn there will be a big movement. If residential training program is to be organized then it should
be conducted after Durga Puja.
