Hundreds of people taking refuge at a hospital in Gaza are said to have died in an explosion at the hospital. Regarding the catastrophic event, israel and Hamas have exchanged allegations, with the terrorist organization claiming that an Israeli airstrike was the cause of the explosion. israel, on the other hand, has denied any involvement in the hospital explosion and said that the terrorist group Islamic Jihad's botched rocket launch was the reason for it.

Images of Gaza City's Al Ahli hospital taken before and after an explosion tore through the region were released by the israel Defence Forces. The picture displayed an aerial view of the hospital grounds. Images of flames following a "failed launch by the Islamic Jihad organization" were displayed in a comparison on the right. A side-by-side visual comparison of the hospital parking lot before and after the explosion was shown in the film.

Israel supported its assertion that it was not involved in the strike by claiming that the Israeli weaponry "caused craters" upon impact, however, the bombing left "no visible signs of craters or significant damage to buildings". Between 200 and 300 people were killed in the explosion at the Ahli Arab Hospital, according to Gaza's health officials.
