SP candidate Mahesh Sahare took membership of congress in the presence of congress National President mallikarjun Kharge. Apart from this, National Women's Wing President of Gongpa Durgavati Uike and district Panchayat member priyanka Parte also joined Congress.

Mahesh Sahare, who left the election field and joined the congress, said that as the state president of Adivasi Gowari Samaj, he has been continuously demanding from the bjp government of the state to give the Scheduled Tribe rights given in the Constitution to the Adivasi Gowari community. The government did not pay any attention, due to which he is joining congress today. State President kamal nath has assured that as soon as the government is formed in the state, he will include Gowari caste in the Scheduled Tribe.
