The noise of campaigning in rajasthan assembly elections may have stopped, but the mention of Cricket
World Cup during the elections is not stopping. In the latest case, congress Party leader supriya Shrinet has
accused the bharatiya janata party that if india had won the final match in the world cup, then bjp had already
made full preparations to capitalize on that victory in the rajasthan elections. The congress party leader has
made these claims quoting a bjp leader.
Sharing this entire incident on Twitter, Shrinate said, Today a big bjp leader collided at jaipur airport, I am
still surprised to hear what he told after normal courtesy. All over rajasthan with prime minister Modi's World
Cup. posters and hoardings were kept ready. If the team had won, all the hoardings currently put up would have
been replaced and put up for the World Cup. Citing the revelations made by the bjp leader, supriya Shrinet
further wrote, He showed a picture of a poster on the phone - prime minister Modi, wearing an india jersey,
holding a trophy in his hand, was smiling loudly while showing v meaning victory. Further. Told that there
was a plan to bring the team in an open bus and tour to some capitals including Jaipur. On my request to share
the picture, he said that very few people have this picture, I will get trapped, otherwise I would have definitely
given it.
Through this allegation, congress Party leader supriya Shrinet has once again raised the issue of world cup in
the political turmoil of rajasthan elections. Earlier, former congress chief rahul gandhi had also given
controversial statements criticizing prime minister Narendra Modi regarding the defeat in the World Cup. It is
known that voting for assembly elections is to be held in rajasthan on 25th November. The results of the
elections will come on 3 December.
