Reportedly, vishwa Aditya from DD Colony, Amberpet, placed an online order for chicken biryani on Zomato. However, upon receiving the parcel, they were greeted with the unpleasant sight of a dead lizard nestled amidst the rice. According to the Free press Journal, the victim of this culinary mishap later took his grievances to the restaurant, staging a protest at its gate alongside his family. The local media reports suggest that this protest significantly impacted the eatery’s business, as word spread about the lizard-in-the-biryani case.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the restaurant has faced such an accusation. The Food Safety wing officials of the civic body inspected the restaurant and identified certain violations in response to his complaint.
