Deputy chief minister ajit pawar has claimed that we will contest and win Shirur lok sabha seat. Interestingly, ajit pawar, who is part of the Grand Alliance, has made this claim with mutual consent. After this claim of ajit pawar, now chief minister Eknath Shinde is also holding a rally in this lok sabha constituency. Therefore, his supporters are claiming that Shivajirao Adalrao Patil is a candidate from Shinde group.

Talking about this, Patil said, "Ajit Pawar's Shirur lok sabha candidate who is committed to defeat sharad pawar Group mp Amol Kolhe will decide who will be his candidate. However, I will remain in Shinde Group. Patil said that Ajit Dada has not confirmed it yet, but it is certain that he will contest the Shirur lok sabha elections.
