Only a few months are left for the lok sabha elections in the country. Before this, two Chief Ministers and many big opposition leaders are on the target of the central agency ED. ED is continuously sending summons to these leaders for questioning. If a big opposition leader is arrested before the elections, how many seats will be affected, this is very important because it can change the political situation. When a leader is arrested, the election campaign against him changes and his party may suffer losses due to this.

ED has tightened its grip on big opposition leaders of five states. If any opposition leader is arrested, it can have a big impact on the 151 seats of the Lok Sabha. These include 7 seats in delhi, 14 in jharkhand, 42 in West Bengal, 48 in maharashtra and 40 in Bihar. Not only this, there is a possibility of direct contest between bjp and congress on 206 lok sabha seats. Let us know why the Central Agency is tightening the noose on all the opposition leaders, what are the allegations against those leaders, if arrests are made then how many seats will be affected.

Sword of arrest on two Chief Ministers

The sword of arrest is hanging over delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal and jharkhand cm hemant Soren. Both the leaders are claiming their arrest. Central agency ED has so far sent summons to chief minister kejriwal thrice in the alleged liquor scam case and to hemant Soren seven times in the money laundering related case. But both the CMs have not yet appeared before the ED.

Both the leaders are calling the summons politically motivated and are accusing the central government that a conspiracy is being hatched to arrest them before the preparations for the lok sabha elections so that the chief minister cannot campaign. arvind kejriwal termed the ED summons as 'illegal' and questioned the intentions of the agency. Responding to the summons, he said that there are rajya sabha elections in delhi, he is busy as the national convenor of the party and being the chief minister, he is also busy in preparations for january 26. But if the investigating agency wants to send a list of questions, we will answer them.
