bjp has announced candidates in delhi regarding the lok sabha elections. At present, announcements have been made on five out of seven lok sabha seats in Delhi. manoj tiwari has been given ticket from North Delhi. delhi includes chandni Chowk, east delhi, North east delhi, North West delhi, New delhi, South delhi and West delhi lok sabha seats.
North east Delhi- Manoj Tiwari
Chandni Chowk- praveen Khandelwal
New Delhi- Flute Swaraj
West Delhi- Kamaljeet Sehrawat
South Delhi- Rambir Singh Bidhuri
Manoj Tiwari is a well-known name in Bhojpuri films. He came into politics from Bhojpuri films. He won the lok sabha elections in 2014 and 2019 from North east delhi seat. Before coming into politics, he had appeared in many Bhojpuri films and albums. He also participated in many reality shows on indian television. He has also been the President of delhi bjp from 2016 to 2020. In 2014, he defeated Aam Aadmi Party's anand Kumar by 1,44,084 votes. Whereas in 2019 he was facing former cm Sheila Dikshit. manoj tiwari defeated sheila dikshit by 3.63 lakh votes.
Candidates not fielded on two seats
There are total seven lok sabha seats in Delhi. In the last elections, bjp had won all the seats. bjp has not announced candidates for two seats in the first list. This includes North West delhi and east delhi seats. Hans raj Hans is the mp from North West Delhi. gautam gambhir is the mp from east Delhi.
