'It is our government that is coming. Give the captured liquor. Abandon the vehicle. minister Ambati Rambabu threatened SEB SI Srinivasa Rao on thursday evening saying, "Don't file a case against our workers". Boppudi Sheikh Mastanvali and another young man from Madal of Muppalla mandal of Palnadu district were bringing liquor bottles in a sack from Komerapudi on a two-wheeler. After receiving information about this, Sattenapalli SEB SI Komerapudi carried out inspections.

On seeing the police, Mastanwali and another youth ran away leaving the liquor and the bike there. When Ambati Rambabu came to know about this, he immediately came to Seb police Station. They demanded, 'Mastanwali, our activist, leave the alcohol and the vehicle'. When the SI said that there was no question of leaving, the minister became furious with the police. 'It is our government that will come. Your end will be resolved,' he mumbled and left. Later speaking to the media, SI said that 170 bottles of liquor and a two-wheeler were seized. Mastanwali said that a case has been registered against another youth.
