Many candidates from ruling and opposition parties are contesting in 25 parliamentary seats in the state. His father Putta Sudhakar Yadav is a senior tdp leader. During the last Chandrababu's regime, he served as the Chairman of the Governing Body of tirumala tirupati Devasthanam. In the current election too, he is trying his luck as a tdp candidate from Maidukuru. Sudhakar's son Mahesh Yadav is contesting from the eluru parliamentary seat for the first time.

Karumuru Nageswara Rao, father of Karumuru sunil Kumar Yadav, who is in the fray as a ycp candidate from eluru, is a senior politician. Also a minister in the current government. This family also has a long political reign. Karumuri has previously worked as the ZP Chairman of west godavari district and also served as ZPTC of Dwarkathiruma. Later he also contested for the assembly from Dendulur. Also, he is contesting from Tanuku Assembly Constituency for the second time in a row. While his son sunil Eluru is contesting for the third time overall.
