Supreme court reprimanded, rain saved the honor of the government
On Wednesday, the supreme court heard the terrible fire in the forests of Uttarakhand. This hearing was done on a public interest petition, in which the supreme court reprimanded the uttarakhand state government. The top court said that the administration cannot depend only on rain and cloud seeding to control the forest fire. The state government told the court that only 0.1 percent of the state's forests are on fire. So far 398 incidents of fire have been recorded, out of which 350 have been registered. On the other hand, during this reprimand of the supreme court, rain saved the state government's face. There have been reports of forest fires being extinguished due to heavy rains in Kumaon region, especially in almora district.
