His nearest rival in this election was Samajwadi party candidate vinod kumar Pandit Singh, who got a total of 341830 votes. In this way, kirti vardhan singh won this election by a margin of 166360 votes. In the 2019 general elections, the total voters in Gonda parliamentary constituency were 1770248.
