Samajwadi party (SP) rajya sabha member ram Gopal Yadav expressed grief over the pahalgam terror attack. He paid tribute to the people killed in the terror attack. He said that the attack on tourists in pahalgam is very condemnable and sad.
SP mp ram Gopal Yadav said, "Amarnath yatra is about to start and this yatra has always been under the shadow of terror, because pahalgam is the first base camp of this yatra and the agencies are not able to find out that such a big attack will take place on the people here, so I believe that this is an intelligence failure. The terrorists being sent to india from across the border have no fear in their minds. In such a situation, the first thing the government should do is to destroy the route of PoK. But, it seems that the government does not have the willpower. The government should have taken action by now, but it was not done."
What did ram Gopal say on Robert?
On the question of terrorists asking about religion and shooting people in pahalgam, ram Gopal Yadav said, "Apart from Hindus, Muslims have also been killed in this attack. Attempts are being made to link such incidents to politics and this is a sad thing. If this had not happened, terrorism would have ended from the country, but the government has no will to end terrorism. This thing suits the government and if there was any other country in our place, it would have attacked and destroyed terrorism by now." On the question of talking to pakistan, the SP leader said, "There will be no solution through talks and this attack has nothing to do with Article 370, because the country that created terrorism is pakistan and everyone knows this."
ram Gopal Yadav expressed displeasure over the statement of congress leader priyanka Gandhi's husband Robert Vadra. He said that I do not agree with Robert Vadra's statement, people keep making such comments on social media. The SP mp said that our party's stand on the pahalgam attack is that the government should take strict action and if needed, send the indian Army to PoK.
