Earlier this department was with dhananjay Munde. Now the government order has been issued in this regard and Chhagan Bhujbal has been formally given the charge of this department.

ncp leader Chhagan Bhujbal took oath as minister at raj bhavan on tuesday (May 20). governor C. P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office to him. Bhujbal has been included in the vacancy after the resignation of ajit pawar faction leader dhananjay Munde. There was already speculation about him that he could be given the Food and Civil Supplies Department again.

Chhagan Bhujbal was not given a place in the Mahayuti government earlier

Despite being a senior leader of the Nationalist Congress, Chhagan Bhujbal was not given a place in the Mahayuti government earlier, due to which there were talks of his displeasure for a long time. He had expressed his displeasure several times for not getting a ministerial post and had also made direct comments on deputy cm Ajit Pawar. After being removed from the cabinet by ajit pawar, Bhujbal met chief minister devendra fadnavis, where the cm advised him to keep patience.

In the previous government, Bhujbal had the Food Supply Department

In the previous government, Bhujbal had this Food and Civil Supplies Ministry, which was later handed over to dhananjay Munde in the current devendra fadnavis government. After Munde's resignation, this department remained with ajit pawar for some time, but now it has been handed over to Chhagan Bhujbal once again.

Chhagan Bhujbal will hold a meeting with officials

Reacting to this, Chhagan Bhujbal said, "I have just received information that a notification has been issued in this regard. I am going to mumbai now and will immediately take charge of the department. I will hold a meeting with our chief officer, secretary etc. and will try to understand their problems and find solutions."
