delhi Pradesh congress Committee President Devendra Yadav has leveled serious allegations against the BJP-ruled Municipal Corporation government and said that small industries in urbanized villages are being harassed in the name of license. This matter has taken the form of extortion. BJP's three-engine Municipal Corporation government is sending notices to traders. Under the guise of notices, MCD people are illegally extorting much more than the fixed fee.
Devendra Yadav said that this is not the first time that bjp is creating problems for the traders of urbanized villages. 27 years ago also, while in power, bjp had harassed small businessmen of rural areas by imposing license raj. Now the same story is being repeated.
The picture of Delhi's rural areas has not changed for years - Devendra Yadav
The congress President also targeted both aam aadmi party and bjp for the lack of basic facilities in the rural areas of Delhi. He said, "The picture of rural delhi has not changed in the last 12 years. Basic facilities like drainage, water and roads are also not available here."
'The game of harassing the villagers under the guise of license'
Devendra Yadav said that the governments had acquired land from the people of these villages at a very low price. Earlier governments had allowed the villagers to run their businesses within the boundaries of the red line, but now the bjp government is trying to curb that too.
'Urbanized villagers are afraid of sealing'
Criticizing the previous aam aadmi party government, Yadav said that the projects that were promoted for the development of 318 villages proved to be mere election slogans. The current rekha Gupta government of bjp also talked about urbanized villages during the elections, but now the fear of sealing in the guise of license is haunting the urbanized villages. Raising questions on the intentions of the bjp government, he said that during the elections, the bjp had said that where there is a slum, there is a house. Does bjp want to build a developed delhi by evicting slum dwellers and ruining villages?
