A cabinet meeting was held on tuesday (June 03, 2025) under the chairmanship of chief minister Nitish Kumar. 47 agendas were approved in this meeting. The government has opened the job box before the elections. About 4858 posts have been created for recruitment in different departments.
A total of 1503 posts have been created in the education Department. These include 935 posts of Assistant education Development Officer and 568 posts of education Development Officer. Apart from this, a total of 390 different posts will be appointed in the Social Welfare Department.
Apart from this, 22 posts of Assistant Branch Officer have been approved in the Public health Engineering Department. Approval has been given for the creation of 653 contract based posts in bihar Jeevika nidhi Shak Sarkari Sangh Limited and 818 posts in bihar State Educational Infrastructure Conservation Limited.
On the other hand, in order to expand the urban administration, Danapur, Khagaul and Phulwarisharif nagar Parishad have been included in the municipal body. After the expansion, the land of rural areas in these areas will be included in the urban area. Not only this, the people living there will start getting facilities like cities.
1320 crores approved for sewerage network project
A plan of 1320 crores has been approved for the sewerage network project in Aurangabad, Sasaram and Siwan city. A plan of 328 crores has been approved for the water supply scheme in Ara, Siwan and Sasaram. On the other hand, it has been decided to hand over the responsibility of preparing clothes for the children of Anganwadi Center to Jeevika Didi.
