The ahmedabad plane crash has given many families such a painful story that will not end in a lifetime. Before boarding the plane for the first time in life, a father and mother longed to meet their younger son in london, but no one had ever thought that the parents would close their eyes before that meeting.
This is the sorrow of the Pawar couple of Sangola. Mahadev Pawar and Ashatai Pawar, originally from Sangola, worked in a cotton mill in Gujarat. They died in the ahmedabad plane crash. Mahadev and Ashatai Pawar left for london on wednesday to meet their younger son. They had never thought that the first plane journey of their life would last only a few seconds.
Promised to meet ailing brother
In the phone call made before boarding the plane, Mahadev Pawar had told his ailing younger brother, 'Take care of your health.' He had also promised that he would meet him on his return, but fate had something else in store. His younger brother Bhau Pawar had recently undergone heart surgery a month ago. Mahadev Pawar neither met his son nor will he ever be able to meet his brother. This proved to be the first and last flight of Mahadev and Ashatai Pawar.
Mahadev Pawar, a native of Hatid village in Sangola taluka, had called his younger brother Bhau Pawar and promised, "I will take my medicines on time and will meet him again on my return from London." But fate left this meeting incomplete. A few days ago, the Pawar couple had also come to the village and stayed with the family.
Younger son was not aware
One of Mahadev Pawar's sons works as a driver in ahmedabad, while the younger son has started his own business in London. The Pawar couple had left for london from ahmedabad to meet their younger son. Since it was a surprise visit, the younger son did not know much about it.
