Aam Aadmi party spokesperson in delhi Anurag Dhanda has strongly attacked both bjp and congress over the slum demolition campaign going on in Delhi. He said that bjp and congress are working as a single team, and both are misleading the people together. Meanwhile, Dhanda made serious allegations and said that during the elections, congress had received Rs 44 crore in cash, even though this party was not playing any major role in the elections. He raised the question that who gave this money to Congress? Did bjp give money to Congress? He claimed that till now about 10,000 slums have been demolished in delhi and 80 thousand to one lakh people have become homeless. He asked where did the Prime Minister's promise 'Jahan Jhuggy, Wahin Makaan' go?

bjp is the enemy of the poor-AAP

Dhanda said that bjp has become the enemy of the poor instead of helping them. He challenged the bjp government to show any order in which they have allotted houses to even 100 slum dwellers. He said that AAP leader Atishi reached the spot to stop the bulldozer action, but no congress leader came forward against this action.

Anurag Dhanda also said that the high court orders have been coming earlier too, but at that time the government used to go to the supreme court and get a stay. He said that this time too, if the delhi government wanted, it could have argued in the supreme court that the slums should not be demolished until the houses are ready in place of them, but this was not done.

Both bjp and congress are anti-poor - Dhanda

Dhanda said that the AAP government has built thousands of flats under DUSIB (Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board), and in the coming time, bjp leaders are going to inaugurate those flats. He also attacked the congress and asked, “When the congress had built houses, why did it not distribute them to the slum dwellers?” Dhanda said that the central government i.e. bjp was behind this. He claimed that this is on record, and even in the affidavit submitted in the court, bjp had clearly said that congress cannot distribute houses without their permission. The AAP government did not remove any slum dweller without making alternative arrangements, and both bjp and congress are following anti-poor policies.
