Ahead of the meeting between US President
donald trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, a big statement by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has come to the fore. He bluntly said that both
ukraine and
russia will have to make concessions to each other to reach a peace agreement. During this, he once again warned Putin of additional sanctions.
Marco Rubio's statement comes at a time when several reports claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin has laid down the condition of handing over the eastern region of Donbass to
moscow to end the war. At the same time, Ukrainian President Zelensky has clearly refused to give up any area for peace.

interview to the Face the Nation show that if peace is not reached between
russia and

war, then thousands of
people will continue to die.
