Nitish Kumar has scheduled a cabinet meeting for monday morning.
According to reports, the meeting may approve the dissolution of the current cabinet.
Immediately after this approval, nitish kumar is expected to submit his resignation to the Governor.
This resignation will formally begin the process of forming a fresh government under the nda banner.
🔹 NDA’s Strong Majority in 2025 Elections
The nda secured an absolute majority, winning over 200 seats out of the 243-member assembly.

BJP: 89 seats (highest in the alliance)
JD(U): 85 seats
LJP (Ram Vilas): 19 seats, led by Union minister Chirag Paswan
HAM & RLM: 9 seats collectively

Jha met nitish kumar and confirmed that the new government will be formed within a few days.
He reiterated the NDA’s commitment to implementing promises made in the election manifesto.
🔹 PM Modi to Attend Nitish Kumar’s Oath Ceremony
During the campaign, prime minister Narendra Modi had promised to return for the swearing-in ceremony.
True to his word, PM Modi will visit bihar again to attend Nitish Kumar’s oath-taking ceremony as Chief Minister.
