Presented by chief minister M.K. stalin at the event Celebrating international Transgender Day

In commemoration of International Transgender Day, a special ceremony was organized to honor and support transgender individuals across tamil Nadu. During this event, Tamil Nadu chief minister Thiru M.K. Stalin personally distributed various welfare benefits and assistance packages to 400 transgender persons, reaffirming the government’s commitment to equality, inclusion, and social justice.

The program highlighted the state’s progressive initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for members of the transgender community. These benefits included financial assistance, welfare scheme enrollments, identity documentation support, livelihood resources, and other forms of governmental aid designed to promote empowerment and self-sufficiency.

Chief minister stalin emphasized that transgender individuals deserve equal respect, opportunities, and recognition in all spheres of society. He reiterated the government’s ongoing dedication to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can live with dignity.

The event not only marked the celebration of international Transgender Day but also showcased tamil Nadu’s leadership in implementing forward-thinking policies that uplift the transgender community and ensure their rightful place in society.
