It's a tragic turn of events in America as Kamatham Gitanjali, a 32-year-old telugu woman, succumbed to injuries sustained in a car accident in the Portland area. The accident, which occurred two days ago, also claimed the life of her six-year-old daughter, Hanika. Originally from Konakanchi village in Penuganchiprolu mandal of ntr district in Andhra Pradesh, Gitanjali and her husband, Kamatham naresh, had moved to America after their marriage.

Both were employed as software engineers there. The couple, along with their children, son Bhraman and daughter Hanika, were returning from a temple visit on Sunday, which was Hanika's birthday. Tragically, their car met with an accident during the journey, resulting in Hanika's immediate demise and severe injuries to Gitanjali.

While naresh and Bhraman sustained minor injuries, Gitanjali was critically injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, she was declared brain dead due to the severity of her injuries. Currently, naresh and Bhraman are undergoing treatment for their injuries at the hospital. The devastating loss of both mother and daughter has left their family and relatives in profound grief and shock.

Plans are underway to transport their bodies to their native village, Konkanchi, where their loved ones await to bid them farewell. The entire village mourns the loss of Gitanjali and Hanika, as their untimely demise casts a shadow of sadness over their community.
