The Aarti worship of the ocean Tirtha was held in the month of Karthika at the Kanyakumari Mukkadal Sangam in the presence of a huge number of devotees. Last night (19th), on the full moon day of the month of Karthika, the third event of this Aarti Worship, arranged on behalf of the Kanyakumari district Hindu Pilgrim Council, took place. The first assembly of devotees took place in front of Mukkadal Sangam Beach's Parasuramar Ganesha Temple. It was followed by three rounds of chanting.

During the event, ocean anointing and special pujas were performed. After that, a five-tiered lamp was lit, and the Aarti was carried to the sea. The maha Samudra Aarti ceremony was presided over by Swami Chaitanyanandaji Maharaj of Vellimalai Vivekananda Ashram. MLAs Talawaisundaram and MR gandhi lit a lamp to begin the Aarti worship. A huge number of devotees were there, including Rajagopal, Chairman, Kumari district Hindu Reformers Council, Swami Padmendra, Chairman, Vallalar assembly, Kumari district, and Rajagopal, Chairman, Kumari district Hindu Reformers Council. Due to the relaxation of the midnight curfew, not only Kanyakumari residents but also visitors from other districts attended the Mukkadal Sangam maha Samudra Aarti worship.
