Surge in Devotees During Summer Holidays

The tirumala venkateswara temple has recorded a significant rise in devotee turnout, leading to a one-day hundi (offering box) collection of ₹3.23 crore.

Officials said the increase in footfall is mainly due to the ongoing summer holiday season, during which large numbers of pilgrims from across the country visit the temple.

High Devotee Footfall at Tirumala

The temple, one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in India, has been witnessing heavy crowds over the past few weeks. Devotees are arriving in large numbers for darshan, contributing to longer waiting times and increased activity in and around the temple complex.

Special arrangements have been made by temple authorities to manage the inflow of pilgrims smoothly.

Temple Administration Measures

To handle the growing crowd, the tirumala tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has implemented additional queue lines, enhanced security measures, and improved crowd management systems.

Free and special darshan arrangements are being monitored closely to ensure orderly movement of devotees.

Continued Pilgrimage Rush Expected

With school holidays still ongoing in several states, officials expect the pilgrim rush to continue in the coming days. The temple administration is preparing for sustained high footfall, especially during weekends and auspicious days.

The steady inflow of devotees highlights the continued spiritual significance of the temple and its importance as a major pilgrimage destination in India.
