The indian Premier League 2021, which was suspended due to the ongoing second wave pandemic is said to be resumed in september this year. According to the official reports coming from the sports giant, sports Today, the remaining of IPL 2021 is expected to start from 19th or 20th september and the finals will be played on 10th october in the UAE.

Before the icc t20 world cup takes place, bcci hopes to host the remaining 31 matches of IPL 2021. It is going to be split into  10 double headers, 7 single headers and 4 playoffs, which will be fit into the 21-day window the bcci hopes to create before the icc t20 World Cup.
BCCI officials have confirmed that all stakeholders are intent to complete the IPL and the franchise owners and CEOs     have confirmed this news. “The bcci will not ask ECB to change dates for the India-England series. The tour ends on september 14.”


The report also said that the Caribbean Premier League, supposed to be held from august 28 to september 19, will be readjusted. The bcci will request for the CPL to be finished four-five days in advance, around the same time india tour of england ends.
